On October 17, the finals of the "Safety Guardian" labor competition, organized by Yichang Tianrui Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., were successfully held. Centered around the core objectives of "strengthening safety defenses and honing emergency response skills," the competition emphasized practical, professional, and standardized approaches. It comprehensively tested frontline employees' abilities to respond swiftly, perform tasks in a standardized manner, and collaborate effectively in real-world accident scenarios—thereby genuinely advancing the company's safety management capabilities from mere "compliance with regulations" to "practical readiness for real-life situations."

The competition closely mirrors the typical risk scenarios encountered in the company's production process of highly active pharmaceutical ingredients, featuring three rigorously designed, high-intensity practical exercises. Throughout the event, participants are required to properly wear a full set of personal protective equipment, including fire-resistant suits, firefighting helmets, and air respirators, to максимально replicate real-world emergency response conditions.

The 100-meter loaded run places primary emphasis on assessing athletes' physical endurance and movement precision while fully equipped, simulating the intense real-world pressure of racing against time to seize the "golden rescue window."

The two-person, five-hose-reel connection drill focuses on team coordination and meticulous operational skills, requiring participants to precisely lay out and swiftly connect five fire hoses while sprinting 95 meters at high intensity. This exercise underscores the company’s commitment to rigorous process management and flawless execution—direct reflections of the organization’s quality culture extended into the realm of safety.

The 3×50-meter fire-fighting relay race brought the competition to a thrilling climax, encompassing multiple critical stages—including physical endurance, equipment handover, full-face mask donning, and firefighting operations—while thoroughly testing the seamless coordination and professionalism required for cross-functional teamwork.

After a fierce competition, the API Workshop team (Jincheng, Wang Neng, and Huang Wenyue) clinched the first-place prize thanks to their solid technical skills, seamless teamwork, and steady performance under pressure. Company Vice General Managers Wei Yong, Yuan Tingwei, and Cai Weiguo observed the competition on-site and fully recognized the frontline employees' pivotal role in strengthening safety capabilities.

First-prize winners: Jin Cheng, Wang Neng, Huang Wenye

Second-prize winners: Ren Zhiyong, Jiang Linyan, Dong Yiran

Third-prize winners: Deng Peng, Huang Zheng, Li Haiqin

At the post-competition summary meeting, Deputy General Manager Wei Yong pointed out that this competition was not only a "stress test" of emergency response capabilities but also a comprehensive review of the practical training achievements of grassroots teams. He emphasized that safety is not a "performance" on the drill ground—it is an "instinct" embedded in daily operations. He urged all departments to take the detailed issues uncovered during the competition as a starting point, establishing a feedback mechanism for "real-world defect data." This will enable continuous refinement of emergency plans and intensified job-specific training, driving the safety management system to make a substantive leap—from mere "paper compliance" to "on-site effectiveness." Finally, he called on all employees to integrate the professionalism and collaborative spirit demonstrated during the competition into their everyday operations, ensuring that the guiding principles of "safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive governance" are truly put into practice. Together, they can build a robust safety framework that supports the company’s high-quality development.
